In the city’s oldest theatre, we present contemporary performing arts: drama, performance, dance, new circus and puppet theatre, as well as concerts, readings and productions that invent their own genres. We love everything that breaks boundaries, the unexpected, the unsettling. And we don’t play it safe.
We are a production house for the independent performing arts and see ourselves as accomplices to the artists we support in the development and presentation of their projects.
With our theatre programme, festivals, event series, guest performances and discussion formats, we present a broad spectrum of artistic styles. Regional, national and international artists meet theatre enthusiasts from Dresden, neighbours and travellers. This is a place to work, live, celebrate and experiment.
