With around 350,000 visitors a year, the Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung (Kunsthalle München for short) is one of Germany’s most renowned exhibition venues. Located in the heart of Munich city centre, it stages three major exhibitions a year, each with a different focus – ranging from painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and media art to crafts, design and fashion. Monographic exhibitions and thematic projects alternate, often taking an interdisciplinary approach.
