Sailing isn’t just about water, wind, sunshine and being close to nature. Sailing is teamwork, a group experience and an intense exercise for the senses. Located right next to the Ostkreuz S-Bahn station, the Pura Vida Sailing School is right in the heart of the city and easy to reach. Lake Rummelburg is the perfect spot for beginners to take up sailing. It was here that not only the first German sailing club was founded in 1835, but later also the first workers’ sailing club! Until the war, the lake was a very popular sailing spot, but it was closed off during the GDR era. Together with the Rummelsburg Boat Club (Bootsclub Rummelsburg e.V.), we are reviving this long-standing tradition and offer sailing, motorboat, radio communication and SUP courses for children, teenagers and adults, including equipment hire. Our many years of experience, combined with certified instructors and a strong team spirit, guarantee you professional training.
