Forum Theater Stuttgart

The Forum Theatre’s repertoire includes classics and modern classics, contemporary plays and adaptations of novels. The main focus is on an intensive examination of material that is as topical as it is complex. We approach topics that are burning under our nails, we make plays that we find important – we don’t play politics of the day and we don’t follow the zeitgeist. We tell stories that we believe concern us all because they are acute, because we recognise in them what is close to our hearts. Our own repertoire is complemented by guest performances with which we want to show theatre in all its diversity. Musical evenings, comedic plays with depth, plays that are worth thinking about, clownish plays, recurring guest performances by the Accademia Teatro Dimitri and the Famiglia Dimitri from Ticino, which have cult status with our audiences.
