Welcome to the Capitol Mannheim!
From a disused cinema to the vibrant heart of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region: for over 25 years, we have been transforming the listed Capitol into a multifaceted live performance and events venue – hosting around 300 events and welcoming over 140,000 guests each year.
Here, you can enjoy concerts, comedy, cabaret and children’s theatre all under one roof: the main auditorium offers up to 1,200 standing places or 688 comfortable seats; at the Casablanca, we enchant young audiences; and at the Casino, the Rampenlicht restaurant provides culinary delights before and after the show.
A vision has become a venue of diversity – driven by passion, strong partners and a circle of friends with over 2,000 members.
