BODY WORLDS Berlin

The world’s first BODY WORLDS museum displays unique plastinates that provide visitors with easily understandable, detailed knowledge about individual organ functions and common diseases.

It provides insights into the highly complex structures of the body’s interior and illustrates what connects us, keeps us upright and in motion, and what makes us laugh and love.

All anatomical specimens on display in the exhibition are real. They belonged to people who declared during their lifetime that their bodies should be made available after their deaths for the training of physicians and the instruction of laypersons.
