The wine and cocktail bar KONSTANTIN, located in the Sülzer Veedel neighbourhood, follows the call of its tradition. Today, Sülz is one of Cologne’s most popular residential neighbourhoods. In the middle of the 19th century, the district was still heavily agricultural and populated by farmers. Later, Sülz became home to many workers and craftsmen. With the emergence of factories, the population also increased. Numerous craft workshops steeped in history still characterise the image of this historic district. Brickworks and hatters shared the neighbourhood with spinning mills, bicycle workshops, bread bakeries and cigar factories. In addition to furniture and lamps, liquorice and printing ink were also produced here.

A classic is the wonderfully refreshing Gin Basil Smash: Bombay East Gin, freshly squeezed lemon juice and aromatic basil leaves. The Strawberry Swing is a new addition to the menu. A cocktail made from gin, strawberry syrup, freshly squeezed lemon and a shot of Prosecco. Especially recommended for those who want to try something new and extravagant. If you order a gin and tonic, you can choose from six different types of gin, including the Japanese Roku Gin, which is praised by connoisseurs. In total, there are more than 20 high-quality cocktails on our menu. Our unusual tequila varieties, such as the Mexican Patron XO Tequila flavoured with coffee extract, are also a special find.
