Welcome to the Allee Theatre!
Located in the heart of Hamburg-Altona, we have been bringing together two very different worlds under one roof for decades: the Children’s Theatre, founded in 1968 as Germany’s first private children’s theatre, and the Hamburg Chamber Opera, the only private chamber opera in Europe. In our Baroque auditorium, decorated entirely in red and gold and featuring 200 individual Baroque chairs, you can look forward to sophisticated musical theatre for the very youngest, as well as rarely performed operatic treasures from the 18th and 19th centuries – always in specially adapted German versions.
